I am a registered nurse working in critical care in New York. I created Para Ti NYC because I saw how difficult it can be for immigrant, uninsured, and Spanish-speaking families to navigate the healthcare system.
As the daughter of a Spanish-speaking mother, I often translated at doctor's appointments, pharmacies, and government offices. Those experiences inspired my commitment to improving healthcare access and health literacy.
My goal is to become a physician and continue serving Hispanic and underserved communities by helping patients understand their care, access resources, and advocate for themselves.
Para Ti NYC provides free bilingual resources to connect New Yorkers with healthcare, food assistance, housing support, legal aid, and community services.
